Transportation will be provided to/from the ceremony &amp; reception for all guests staying at Oaks on the River Van(s) will depart PROMPTLY at 2:30PM from Oaks on the River(assuming Amanda can be on schedule for the first time in her life!)

Their First Date

Just 5 days after meeting, Mike professed his love to Amanda on their way home from a fun night out bowling with friends (she, of course, said "I love you" back!)He inscribed that date on the inside of her engagement ring so she'd never forget..."11/5/21 'til forever"

Their First "I LOVE YOU"

St. Augustine, FL was their first of many impulse mini-vacations. Amanda &amp; Mike knew right away they made awesome travel partners. She insisted upon doing all the driving and didn't get annoyed when Mike requested to stop at (a lot...) of gun shops along the way!

Their First Vacation

Amanda was in love with Mike's dog Tank, but knew he needed a brother. Amanda had already walked right by him (probably because she was too distracted trying to hide her tears) at their local animal shelter, when Mike spotted "Baby" Scout.

Their First Fur Baby

Boots literally "came" with Amanda's late father Henry's house when he &amp; Amanda first moved from New York down to Georgia in January 2016.With very little planning and knowledge of pigs, they loaded Boots up the back of Mike's pickup and brought him home to Savannah.They kept him "hidden" in their backyard for about a month before they realized they needed a larger, more suitable, home that was more to Boot's liking.

Their First (of MANY) Rescue Pigs

Amanda and Mike fell in love with the idea of moving to the country after spending time on their recently purchased land down in McIntosh County in February 2023. Boots also approved of this idea, and was ultimately one of the main reasons they decided to make the big move out of the city to their little slice of heaven in Coastal Georgia in June 2023.They found a nice ranch house complete with a giant work shed for Mike, a pond, and a small wood shed that they converted into a pig "house" for Boots.Boots was thrilled to finally have the waterfront view he'd always dreamt of.

Their First House

They managed to successfully convince Mike's parents move out of Savannah and into the home across the street from them. Amanda's Mom is not far behind in moving closer to her daughter &amp; future son-in-law as well, as she is actively seeking her coastal dream home in McIntosh now, too!

In what is truly a labor of love, over the last 2 years Amanda and Mike have spent countless hours making treks to Tractor Supply and emergency trips to Home Depot to build the life they've always dreamt of. Amidst their endless labors of love, their family homestead keeps growing. They currently tend to 20+ chickens, 7 rescue pigs, 4 dogs, 4 cats, and the occasional opossum, raccoon or other wildlife that often passes through!
